JAMB postpone mock examination 2018
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is to organisation its elective mock examination next month, to train prospective candidates for the forthcoming real examination which is scheduled to be held later this year (2018).


The admission body initially picked January for the mock examination in a press-release signed by its Head of Media, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, and presented to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Sunday December 13, 2017. However, Just yesterday (January 10, 2018), it was postponed to be heal in the first week of February 2018. This was made know to already registered candidate via SMS and email alert.


JAMB warned candidates that it was essential for them to register promptly and make sure that they strictly follow due process in order to avoid certain challenges that might arise due to the negligence of these procedures. Candidates were also directed to carefully select their choices of institutions, disciplines and examination centres while registering.


It was also revealed that candidates didn’t have to choose a university as their first chose and have the option of selecting a polytechnic, a monotechnic, a College of Education, an Innovation Enterprise Institution, or a university. Others (possible institutions) includes; the Nigerian Defence Academy or the Police Academy.


The board commended the important role that the Central Admission Processing System portal has played, and promised to conduct a hitch-free examination, ensure a more transparent admission process, and generate more revenue for the Federal Government in this year’s programme.
