Admission Into Novena University

Despite the recent law passed by the federal government which bans post UTME examination, higher institutions are still permitted to conduct some form of screening exercise to ensure documents of prospect are valid and that they meet the required minimum qualifications.

It is almost impossible to get admitted into a Nigerian university without a good  O’level result,  and scoring 180 in UTME.  Nevertheless, in most private university, you have the flexibility to gain admission even without both O’level and UTME. All you have to do is attempt those exams before you graduate. This is a very critical opportunity for the hundreds of thousands of secondary school leavers that would not meet the prerequisite for admission into Government Higher Institutions.

At Novena University Ogume, the prerequisite for admission is a secondary school testimonial (prove that you have concluded secondary school), payment of required fees and a will to attain a good result. All other “requirements” are ceremonial formalities.

If you score more than 180 at the UTME 2016/17, and have credit in five relevant subject at the O’level, you are most qualified.
