A combined Convocation ceremony for graduants of 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015 sessions was held on Saturday 19th March 2016 at Novena university convocation arena in Amai campus. Awards of first degree, presentation of prizes, conferment of honorary degrees and commissioning of the newly built college of Health science building and post-graduate complex were the highlights of the day.
The ceremony was graced with dignitaries from all works and status of life. From the governor of Delta state, His excellency Sen (Dr.) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, former Senate president Senator David Mark, wife of Ogun state governor Her excellency Olufuso Amosun, Engr. Gabriel Ogbechie (Managing Director, RainOil), Gen. Paul Tarela Boroh (Rtd.) S.A. to the president on Niger delta and coordinator of presidential amnesty programme, and Chief Lulu Briggs were the recipients of the honorary degrees.
