FG plagued to provide FECA with agricultural training equipment

The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh has vowed (on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeri a) to provide the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure with some multi-million naira agricultural equipment to contribute in the practical training of students of the institution.



This promised was made on Friday, January 19, 2018 during a courtesy visit to the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State. Some of the promised equipment’s includes; a milk making machine (for the manufacturing of dairy products), bio-fortified value chain, flash dryer, crusher (for the production of feeds for livestock), et cetera.

He expounded that the intended donation was to assist the institution on its objectives of producing industrialised agricultural graduates, who will be future employers of labour in the agricultural sector. He commended the effort of the current management of the college in the establishment of (what he described as) their numerous innovative centres.
