The department aims at equipping students with the skills, knowledge and methodologies in the chemical sciences with sole aim of enabling them contribute towards the technological advance of Nigeria.
Objectives
The studies offered is aimed to
1. Enable the students acquire the capability to conduct research in chemical sciences and related fields.
2. Equip the students with necessary skills, knowledge and methodologies to effectively conduct analytical investigations necessary for quality control in chemical and allied industries.
Enable the students get the skills and knowledge allowing them to become entrepreneurs.

2. BSc. In Biochemistry
3. B.Sc. in Petrochemicals and Industrial Chemistry.
